Key locations

  • Doyle houseThe film's babysitting house — Tommy Doyle's home, a defensible anchor.
  • Wallace houseThe other babysitter house of the 1978 night, across the way.
  • Multi-story buildingsThe map's defining feature — verticality that changes both hunting and hiding.

Escape routes

  • Storm cellar
  • Car
  • Gate
  • Police van

Orange Grove Estates carries the film's most famous addresses — the Doyle and Wallace houses — and the game's most vertical play, with multi-story buildings shaping every chase and escape. Upstairs is safety and trap in the same floorboards.

Bottlenecks & sightlines

Stairwells are the map's signature chokepoints: every multi-story building funnels through them, and both sides plan around that. Upper-floor windows create the map's best observation posts — and its most committed dead ends. Ground-floor sightlines are neighborhood-standard; the verticals are what you're really learning here.

Michael tips

  • Upper floors are ambush country: civilians treat upstairs as safe by instinct, and Shape Jump through a dark second story cures them of it.
  • Control stairwells rather than chasing through them — pressure at the only exit beats pursuit up it.
  • The Doyle/Wallace pair anchors Special Target activity in many matches; circuit both. Reported

Civilian tips

  • Never hold an unlit upper floor. Height without light is a Shape Jump entrance above your head — light the landing first, per defense fundamentals.
  • Upstairs observation is powerful with an exit plan: know your stairwell, and know your window-drop options before you post up.
  • Escorting Special Targets through multi-story ground: clear vertically (top-down), then move them fast at street level.
