Expect roughly two hours for a first clear of the ~six chapters, all played as Michael. It's scored, has difficulty options, and carries its own challenges that unlock cosmetics — so completionists will spend well beyond two hours re-running chapters. As of this writing there's no official statement placing the game in Game Pass, and it launched September 8, 2026 as a regular paid purchase on the Xbox store. If a Game Pass addition is announced, this answer will be updated with the source.

Japan is a partial exception rather than a full ban: the PS5 release was cancelled there (violence/nudity content concerns), while the Xbox and PC digital versions remain available. If you're in Japan on PlayStation only, there is currently no legitimate way to play.

Three things are confirmed for Digital Deluxe: early access (playable from September 4, four days before launch), two additional heroes — Richard and Alexis — and the Phantom skin for Michael. Some listings mention further cosmetic extras; those remain unverified. Unverified The early-access window has already passed, so post-launch the Deluxe value is the heroes and the skin.

It's official and deliberate: the developers switched Prestige challenges off on September 10, 2026 while they investigate issues, with the fix targeted at a future patch. Nothing on your end is broken and nothing local will re-enable them. Watch the patch tracker — we'll flag the moment they return.

Check in this order: (1) Prestige challenges have been officially disabled since September 10 — those won't track no matter what. (2) Progressive challenges fail silently when order or stealth conditions break; re-read the requirements. (3) A genuine tracking bug is widely reported and acknowledged in general terms. Australia's classification board Refused Classification because the game includes a cannabis mechanic tied to gameplay — using it can temporarily reveal Michael's location. Under Australian rules, drug use linked to gameplay incentives or rewards routinely triggers RC, which blocks legal sale in the country.
