The Ancient Amulet is one of the two community-famous rare items, and almost everything about it carries a reported label: it appears rarely, it's consumed on use, and it grants some form of one-time protection from Michael. Reported
What it does
Reports describe a single-use protective effect — surviving an encounter that would otherwise have downed you. The exact mechanics (does it block a grab? a hit? an execution?) are not consistently described.
The activation caveat
The most repeated warning: the amulet reportedly must be activated or held correctly to work — players describe carrying it and still going down because it wasn't in the active state they expected. Until the condition is confirmed, treat the amulet as a bonus, not a plan. Unverified
Where it spawns
No credible fixed spawn list exists. Reports describe it as a rare find in searchable locations rather than a guaranteed pickup. If you have repeatable spawn evidence, send it in.
Notes & open questions
- Whether the effect works against every attack type, or only standard attacks.
- Whether one can spawn per match, or several.
- Whether the minimap key-item indicator applies to it. Unverified
